which is a perfect fit with our Randle's age, as given in the burial register. +
Randle & Katherine also had a son, Thomas, baptised at Caverswall on 22 July +
1753. A Thomas Bagnall, husbandman of Teddesley Hay, married Elizabeth +
Brindley at Penkridge on 25 Dec 1782, by licence.
On 07 Jul 1770, a William Bagnal of "Cyphord" was buried at Penkridge. Why +
buried there? Randle named his first son William. A common name, so may not +
mean anything. Randle & Katherine had a son, Joseph, baptised at Dilhorne on +
25 Mar 1759. There were Bagnalls in Seighford for many years. In Penkridge on +
02 Nov 1750, Edith, wife of Robert Bagnal was buried. Robert Bagnal was buried +
there on 15 Dec 1767. Robert was the name of Randle's first son by his second +
wife. A William Bagnall was a witness at Randle's first marriage, signing the +
register.
