marriage of a William and Mary, no other children of marriage. A William +
Bagnall of "Dillhorne" married a Mary Grime of Stone at Newcastle-under-Lyme on +
11 Mar 1708. No children of this union traced at Newcastle. A William and +
Elizabeth Bagnall (marriage not found) had five children baptised in Haughton +
between 30 May 1740 and 6 Apr 1755. A Thomas Bagnall married Mary Fenton at +
Blymhill on 17 Jul 1732. There were no children baptised at Blymhill, but four +
children of a T & M were baptised at Church Eaton between 31 May 1733 and 1 Jul +
1739, another on 30 Dec 1751 (if same couple). At Haughton, a T & M had three +
children baptised between 26 Mar 1744 and 22 Sep 1751. Was one of Robert's +
parents wrongly named in the register?
